On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at approximately 5:00 pm, the Wareham Police Department Detective Division executed a search warrant at unit # 3 in the Silver Lake Mobile Park, listed as #3024 Cranberry Hwy. in Wareham. Detectives obtained a search warrant as part of an investigation pertaining to illegal drugs being sold and used at the residence.

After gaining entry without incident, detectives secured three males and a female inside, all of whom are current residents in the unit. Present at the time of entry was 31 year old Stephen Morin, 26 year old Neal Morrissette, and 24 year old Jared Sherman, all of whom were placed under arrest and charged with various drug charges as a result of the search for illegal drugs at the residence.

During the search of the residence, detectives located cocaine, heroin, various items of drug paraphernalia, along with a loaded .45 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number. A small amount of heroin was located in the bedroom of Stephen Morin, while two plastic baggies containing approximately 10 grams of cocaine, 65 Oxycodone pills, scales, and corner cut baggies were found in the bedroom of Neal Morrissette, along with the unregistered handgun with an obliterated serial number, and mace. In the bedroom of Jared Sherman, detectives located Suboxone and Oxycodone pills. Drug paraphernalia items were located in each of the bedrooms and other areas of the mobile home.

The three males were transported to the Wareham Police Department and are to be arraigned today at the Wareham Fourth District Court on the following charges:

1. Neal Morrissette: 

Possession of a Firearm with Defaced Serial Number

Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Oxycodone)

Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance (Cocaine)

Possession of Ammunition without an FID card 

Possession of Mace without an FID card 

2. Jared Sherman: 

Possession Class B Substance (Oxycodone)

Possession of Class B Substance (Suboxone)

Possession of Class E Substance (Viagra) 

3. Stephen Morin: Possession Class A Substance (Heroin)
