Another Arrest made in the recent Home Invasion.

On Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at approximately 2:00 am, a fourth suspect in the May 17th home invasion incident was placed under arrest. Detectives of the Wareham Police Department developed information leading to the arrest of 20-year-old Wareham resident Brian Santiago, who was arrested without incident in Savannah, Georgia during a planned bus trip.

Extradition arrangements are currently being made to have Brian Santiago transported to Massachusetts in order to be arraigned for the charges of Home Invasion, Rape, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault & Battery, and Larceny form a Building. Mr. Santiago will face arraignment at the Wareham District Court when arrangements are complete.

A warrant has been obtained for a fifth male involved in the May 17th home invasion incident. 21-year-old Wareham resident Jordan JP Gomes is currently wanted for his involvement in the incident, and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Jordan JP Gomes is described as a black male, approximately 6’2” – 6’3” tall, weighing approximatley 175 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair, and a moustache. A photo of Mr. Gomes has been attached to this press release.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jordan JP Gomes is urged to call the Wareham Police Detective Division at (508) 295-1206, or to use the “Text-A-Tip” program by using #274637 to “WAREHAMPD,” followed by the message to be sent.
