Wareham Police Investigate Armed Robbery at West Wareham Cumberland Farms

On Thursday, July 2, 2015 at approximately 4:00 am, Wareham Police Department officers responded to Cumberland Farms in West Wareham for a reported armed robbery. The store clerk reported two masked males holding knives demanded money, then fled the store after receiving an undetermined amount of cash. The store clerk was not physically harmed during the incident.

The suspects were described as thin males, each approximately 5’7” tall, wearing dark colored hooded sweat tops, and gloves. Both males had their faces covered.

A K-9 search led to the recovery of change stolen from the store, although a track for the suspects yielded no results at this time.

Investigation of the incident is being conducted by the Wareham Police Department Detective Division.
