On Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at approximately 11:50 am, Wareham Police Department detectives executed a search warrant for illegal drugs at apartment #75 in the Woods at Wareham complex. In addition to the search warrant, arrest warrants had been obtained for the residents of the apartment, 29 year old Sara Savoie and 29 year old Michael Navarro.
Prior to the execution of the search warrant, detectives encountered Michael Navarro in the area of the Wareham Plaza on Marion Road and located approximately 4 grams of heroin, a plastic bag containing marijuana, and $430.00 cash in his pockets.
Upon entry into the Woods at Wareham apartment, detectives and officers encountered Mr. Navarro’s girlfriend, Sara Savoie, and three young children. Ms. Savoie was found to be in possession of Suboxone pills .
A further search of the apartment led to the discovery of a digital scale, a plastic bag marked “LSD” that contained several LSD paper tabs, and an ounce of marijuana.
Michael Navarro and Sara Savoie were placed under arrest and later transported to Wareham District Court for arraignment. Mr. Navarro was charged with Possession of a Class A Substance With Intent to Distribute (Heroin), Possession of a Class B Substance With Intent to Distribute (LSD), and Possession of a Class D Substance With Intent to Distribute (Marijuana).
Ms. Savoie was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance (Suboxone).
