Investigation Nets Several Arrested On Drug Charges

As a result of citizen complaints into illegal drug activity in the parking lot of Seven Eleven, 3 Barker Road, Wareham Police detectives have made multiple arrests in the last week.

On Thursday, April 5, at about 3:00 pm, detectives observed a male leave his vehicle in the parking lot and meet another male on Barker Road, then go back to the woods behind the store where a suspected drug transaction took place. The two then entered a car and were confronted by detectives. After a search, a white powdery substance consistent with heroin was located. Both men were subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Wareham Police headquarters for processing. 

 

Arrested, was 31 year old David Daggett of 5 Quaker Road, East Wareham.

Mr. Daggett is being charged with:

       1. Possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance (Heroin)

       2. Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act

 

Also arrested was 30 year old, Carlos L. Gonzalez of 189 Park Avenue East Wareham. Mr Gonzalez is being charged with:

  1. Possession of a Class A substance (Heroin)
  2. Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act

 

 

 

 

On Wednesday April 11, at 12:15 pm, Wareham Police detectives were conducting surveillance in the store parking lot again and observed what appeared to be a hand-to-hand drug transaction involving multiple parties in two vehicles. The vehicles were searched with the assistance of a Bourne Police officer and his drug dog. Located in one of the vehicles was a substance consistent with heroin. In addition to the suspected heroin, Suboxone and $1,568.00 was also seized.  

 

As a result of the search, three individuals were placed under arrest.

 

John Sulfaro, 29 years old of 37 Onset Avenue, Onset

  1. Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin)
  2. Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act

 

Rachel Silva, 21 years old of 17 Seaver Avenue, Kingston, MA

1. Possession of a Class B Substance (Sub Oxone)

2. Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Act

 

In addition, Ronald A. Cappola Jr., 23 years old of 150 Lake Drive Plymouth,MA was taken into custody on an unrelated outstanding warrant, and will be charged with:

  1. Distribution of a Class A Substance (Heroin)
  2. Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substance Act
