Four Arrested Following House Break.

On Sunday, June 25th at approximately 6:00 am, Wareham PD patrol officers responded to #2 Pires St. regarding a report from the homeowner that unknown subjects were noticed inside the residence on the home security system. There was no one home at the time of the reported incident.

Upon arrival, Sgt. Dan Henderson and Officer David Melo entered the home and heard crashing noises, then observed 3 males jump out of a window at the rear of the house and run from the property. A female who was encountered as she sat in a vehicle parked near Pires St. as the officers arrived also ran from the scene.


Officers apprehended one of the males on nearby Oakdale St., as he attempted to hide a short distance from the Pires St. residence. While the male was being placed into custody,K-9 Officer Officer Mike Phinney and his partner “Rolf” began a track of the two fleeing males, which led to the area of the Narrows Restaurant, which is approximately ¼ mile from the Pires St. residence. Officer Karl Baptiste and Lt. John Walcek then learned that the two remaining male suspects were inside the restaurant Narrows Restaurant, which is located approximately ¼ mile from the Pires St. residence.


The two male suspects then ran out the back door of Narrows Restaurant, but were quickly apprehended along the nearby shore by K-9 Rolf and Officer Caleb Larue.

The female suspect was apprehended a short time later while walking shoeless and disheveled on Indian Neck Road.


During a search of her vehicle on Pires St., officers discovered 2 firearms in the trunk.


The four individuals arrested, identified as Alan Tieu of Fall River (age 23), Keylin Hall of Brockton (age 24), Toan Nguyen of Dorchester (age 25), and Yolanda Graustuck of Dorchester (age 28), are being held without bail at WPD, and will be arraigned tomorrow at Wareham 4th District Court on the following charges: 

  1. B&E Daytime (Felony)
  2. Illegal Possession of a Firearm
  3. Possession of a Firearm Without a License
  4. Possession of a Defaced Firearm
  5. Possession of a Firearm With 2 Prior Violent Crime Convictions
  6. Resisting Arrest
