Boston Man Arrested for Uttering a False Check.

nobleOn Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at approximately 7:40 pm, officers of the Wareham Police Department arrested 41 year old Robert Noble of #585 Massachusetts Ave. Boston, MA, as he attempted to pass a false check in the amount of $6,162.00 at the Mac Express, a computer software and hardware store located in the Wareham Crossing shopping complex. The Wareham Police Department had received information earlier in the day from an anonymous source, who stated that Mr. Noble would be attempting to pass a fraudulent check at the store sometime during the night.

Robert Noble arrived at the Mac Express and attempted to purchase a large amount of merchandise with the false check and was immediately placed under arrest without incident, charged with Uttering a False Check and Attempt to Commit a Crime.

Mr. Noble was arraigned at the Wareham 4th District Court on Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
