Two Arrested in Early Morning Stabbing

 

 

On July 28, 2012, at approximately 2:09 am, Wareham Police received a report of a stabbing victim that had walked into Tobey Hospital.  Information revealed that the assault had taken place at 73 North Eleventh Street in the Onset section of Wareham.

The victim, 37-year-old Michael Pinnetti, was treated at Tobey Hospital for a stab wound to the neck and hand.  He was subsequently transported to the trauma center at Rhode Island Hospital for additional treatment of the injuries sustained in the incident.

Arrested at the scene was Tammy Mattos of 73 North Eleventh Street Onset.  Ms. Mattos has been charged with Assault  & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

A continuing investigation by Wareham Police Officers and detectives assigned to the Criminal Investigation Unit led to the arrest of a second suspect.  Matthew Brow of 210 Miller Street Middleboro was arrested at his residence at approximately 2:30 pm on July 28, 2012.  Brow was arrested with the assistance of Middleboro Police.

Matthew Brow has been charged with Assault with the Intent to Murder and Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
