Two arrested in Wareham Home Invasion

On Thursday, May 17, 2012 at approximately 12:15 am, Wareham Police Department patrol officers and detectives responded to #14 Dana Lane in East Wareham regarding the report of a home invasion incident. Responding officers reported from the scene that two adult females and one adult male had been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by 3-4 masked males. As reported by the victims, the suspects forcibly entered the home and robbed the occupants of an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry. Further investigation at the scene revealed that the two females had been sexually assaulted as well. An area search for the suspects was conducted with negative results immediately following the incident. 

Subsequent to investigation of the incident, two males were stopped during separate motor vehicle stops at approximately 12:30 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2012. As a result of the motor vehicle stops, 18-year-old Robert Brown Jr. of Onset, MA was placed under arrest for trafficking and possession of a Class B substance (Percocets pills), while 18-year-old Kendrick Williams of #7 Water St. in Wareham was arrested for his involvement in the home invasion incident. During the ensuing investigation, Robert Brown was also charged with his involvement in the home invasion incident. Both males have been charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Rape.

The investigation of this matter is ongoing at this time by the Wareham Police Department Detective Division, and updates will follow as they become available.
